Super Joe, Commander
Super Joe, The Shield
Hasbro's first attempt at shrinking G.I. Joe was the Super Joe line in 1977. The line pretty much bombed, unfortunately, as I think they are damn cool. The problem with them though, is the cheap plastic that Hasbro used for their joints and hands has disintegrated over time, so you will not find one in one piece, and if you do, he will fall to pieces the second you handle one. Due to this, you can get them pretty cheap, since you are basically buying parts. They aren't easy to repair/restring, since the body parts aren't completely hollow. Well, I set out for a way to fix them, and was very successful. So much so, that I may offer my repair service for Super Joe collectors at some point. The figures hands are Mego repros, since nobody makes Super Joe hand repros. They work excellent.
